AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON AUTOCLAVED AERATED CONCRETE BY REPLACING FINE AGGREGATE WITH DOLOMITE

Abstract: Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) is a kind lightweight concrete that is manufacture by aerating the cement-sand mortar. It is a mixture of cement, lime and dolomite with a trace amount of aluminium powder to bind the materials. AAC is mainly used for non load bearing structures. Dolomite due to its light weight property used as fine aggregate. The increased lime content improves the formation of microscopic air bubbles in aerated concrete. To enhance the strength, polypropylene fiber was added at various percentages. AAC with 0.75% of polypropylene fiber and 45% of lime along with cement and dolomite was found to perform well in accordance with conventional AAC.

DESIGN OF POWER OPTIMIZED HYBRID ARRAY MULTIPLIER USING SELF TIMED LOGIC

Abstract: The optimized design of asynchronous array multiplier becomes very complex, which plays a wide role in digital signal processing systems. This paper introduces a high speed hybrid array multiplier with low power consumption. Hybrid array multiplier comprises both single rail and dual rail domino blocks, which resulted the fastest parallel processing and zero gate delay data dependence problem. This proposed array multiplier consumes 56% of power while conventional self timed domino logic consumes 80% in best case analysis. These results are evaluated in 90nm Electronics Design Automation tool simulator.

Abstract: To improve performance, a new Multiplier is designed using modified old Indian Vedic Mathematics. Multiplier is an essential components of high speed processors. Adders used for partial product addition affects negatively the Multiplier’s speed. To obtain partial product of an 8 bit multiplier involves, new Vedic mathematics is used. Carry skip method makes us understand the principle used in partial product addition in Vedic multiplier. Vivado 2015.2 Software is made use to code 8X8 Vedic multiplier in VHDL.
